Manufactured with an all synthetic woven polyester jacket Starflex Type 2 fire hose combines a light physical weight with a tough, hard wearing durability. With a low-friction-loss synthetic rubber lining Starflex Type 2 is flexible and easy to handle. Manufactured to BS6391 and M.E.D. (Ships Wheel) approved for marine use, Starflex Type 2 fire hose has a ragged heat resistant polyurethane coat which is suitable for Sea Water & Brackish Water use. The ‘all synthetic’ rot proof construction is immune to mildew and bacteria and can withstand the toughest climatic conditions.
